Uploaded ECU files remain the client's property and are processed only on their instruction. Emissions-related modifications are intended solely for lawful off-road, research or competition use and must not be used on public roads. The client is responsible for the correct programming process and compliance with local law.
Digital services, refunds and subscriptions
ECU/TCU files, credits, licences, access rights, packages and online features are digital content or digital services. Once performance begins at the customer's express request and, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, after the customer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost when supply begins, no discretionary refund is available for content or a service that has been performed, unlocked, downloaded or individually prepared, to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
Cancelling a subscription stops its next automatic renewal. Access and the applicable limits remain active until the end of the paid billing period, after which the subscription expires. No pro-rata refund is made for the unused part of the current period unless mandatory law or the specific offer states otherwise.
This does not limit statutory remedies for non-delivery, lack of conformity or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
